On Friday, October 11, 2025, in Surakarta, Genpeti team initiated a meeting to seek approval from the Pura Mangkunegaran to establish a partnership between the Ponggok Tourism Village and the Pura Mangkunegaran. This activity is part of the PMM Program, one of the outputs of which is the development of tourism bundling packages, such as tours from Klaten to Solo, Klaten to Yogyakarta, or a combination of both. The aim is to connect the Ponggok Tourism Village with various leading tourist destinations in the surrounding area. One alternative within this bundling package is a tour around Solo, with Pura Mangkunegaran as a key cultural destination.

Upon arrival, the Pura Mangkunegaran was bustling with tourists, both local and international. Seeing this significant potential, Genpeti’s enthusiasm for establishing a mutually beneficial collaboration grew. Genpeti was warmly welcomed by the Pura Mangkunegaran staffs, particularly Mr. Joko, the manager of the Pura Mangkunegaran. The event began with a brief explanation from Ms. Susi regarding the objectives and program of the PMM activities in Ponggok Village. She then proceeded to present the concept of the tourism bundling package. She pointed out the “Srawung Budaya” and “Titik Telu Kutha” packages which involve cultural and educational tours at several key points, one of them is Pura Mangkunegaran.
Mr. Joko welcomed the planned collaboration and expressed his appreciation for the Genpeti’s initiative. In his statement, he said: “Please, as long as we can provide mutual benefits to each other.” He also explained that to establish cooperation in the form of a tour package, the costs required from the Pura Mangkunegaran include the entrance ticket and tour guide services. As a follow-up, the Pura Mangkunegaran, through Mr. Joko, suggested that the Genpeti prepare a proposal or official letter of cooperation, which could then be submitted to Pura Mangkunegaran’s Secretariat for further administrative processing and memorandum of understanding.
